A seasoned mortgage professional, Jeff Genant brings 13 years of experience in sales, operations and management to American One Mortgage. Jeff has worked for National Lenders throughout the United States and has gained a vast knowledge of the inner workings of the mortgage industry. His past experiences have allowed him to help build a company that focuses on the customer receiving the best loan product and experience possible.

"We strongly believe we can do it better than anybody else, because attitude, integrity, ethics and experience are the cornerstone of our business", says Jeff. "Because we have minimal operating expenses, we are able to deliver a loan product and experience that is more competitive than any other in the market".

A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Jeff graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Finance. He and his wife Lisa live in Charlotte and enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling and sports.

With 20 years of experience in mortgage lending, John Early has committed his career to finding the best loans for his customers. He worked for a series of large national lenders for several years, gaining a broad perspective by learning all facets of the business.

In 1999, John started American One Mortgage with partners Jeff Genant and Tim Hallett. His philosophy is to focus on what’s best for the customer, provide an excellent experience, and treat people honestly – “the way I want to be treated.” John is passionate about his work, and really enjoys being able to help others realize their dream of buying a home, putting a child through college or just saving money for the future.

A native of Southern California, John holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and now lives in Charlotte with his wife and three children. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with family, traveling and sports.

Tim Hallett worked for large mortgage banks for several years, learning the ins and outs of the mortgage lending industry before starting American One Mortgage in 1999 with partners John Early and Jeff Genant. “With that experience and the right partners, I felt we could provide superior service, make decisions quickly and control our expenses more efficiently,” Tim says. “Ultimately, that benefit is passed on to the borrower resulting in satisfied customers.”

Tim brings unique skills in lead management, marketing, quality control and vendor management to American One Mortgage, and is responsible for exploring all new business and maintaining current business development sources.

A graduate of North Adams State College in Massachusetts, Tim holds a B.S. in Marketing. Tim and his wife Sherrye, currently reside in Charlotte and look forward to raising their family there.
